Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how we use the information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies on this website ("Website") and the corresponding Web App when applicable ("App") (collectively "Digital Channels"), which operate under the brands of Noytrall Technologies Ltd ("Noytrall").

These Digital Channels use cookies not only to ensure that they function properly but also to provide you with a better browsing experience, allow for the continuous improvement of the services offered, or protect your data.

The Cookie Policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy where we explain how we protect your privacy in our use of cookies and other information.

For any questions about the Cookie Policy, you can contact Noytrall through the following contact points:

  • Data Protection Officer (DPO): dpo@noytrall.com

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small information files placed by the websites you visit and are stored on the browser of the device you use to access the internet (for example, your computer or mobile phone). These files help the website remember information about your visit and make your next visit easier: maintaining user actions and preferences for a certain period of time, maintaining or recognizing your username, the language you want to browse the site in, or other settings.

Types of Cookies

Cookies can be classified according to various criteria. Considering their purpose, cookies can be:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies – required to ensure the functioning of the website and/or to provide functionalities requested by the user, or even to save your preferences regarding navigation on the same, whenever you use the same device and request it.
  • Analytical Cookies – are ancillary and collect statistical information to help website owners analyze their use and better understand their visitors' engagement with the websites. Another function for which these cookies, along with some advertising cookies, may be used is to measure interactions with the ads we present. Some of these cookies may transfer data outside the European Economic Area ("EEA").
  • Personalization Cookies – are ancillary (not necessary for the website's operation but can improve its performance) and are used to personalize the user's browsing experience. Some of these cookies may transfer data outside the EEA.
  • Advertising Cookies – are ancillary and aim to make advertising more attractive to users and advertisers by selecting advertising based on what is relevant to the user, in order to improve the performance reports of campaigns and avoid showing ads that the user has already seen or marked as irrelevant. Some of these cookies may transfer data outside the EEA.

Duration of Cookies

Considering the life span of cookies, these can be distinguished between:

  • Session Cookies – are temporary, being deleted from the cookie file when or shortly after the browser or application used to access the Digital Channels is closed. Through this type of cookies, it is possible, for example, to analyze web traffic patterns, allowing us to identify problems, safeguard security, and provide a better browsing experience.
  • Persistent Cookies – unlike session cookies, these are not deleted when the browser or application is closed, remaining stored on the User's devices. They are used whenever a new visit to the website is made, allowing, for example, to personalize the browsing experience according to the User's interests and provide a more individualized service.

Origin of Cookies

Considering the entity that places the cookies, these can be classified as follows:

  • First-party Cookies – are sent to the User's device through equipment or domains managed by Noytrall and from which the service requested by the User is provided.
  • Third-party Cookies – are sent to the User's device from equipment or domain managed by a third party over which Noytrall has no control. In these cases, the third party may process the data collected through cookies, including transferring them outside the EEA, and Noytrall may not have the capability to configure their operation and/or prevent the transfer of data collected by the cookies.

In cases where cookies of certain categories may imply the transfer of data to countries outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States of America, note that some of these countries do not have an adequacy decision from the European Commission and may not offer a level of protection of your data equivalent to that of the European Union. For more information about the transfer of your data resulting from the use of these cookies, consult our Privacy Policy.

What are our cookies for?

On the Website and App, Noytrall uses the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies;
  • Analytical Cookies;
  • Personalization Cookies.

It may be the case that not all our Digital Channels use all the categories of cookies listed above.

Should I accept the use of cookies?

In the case of strictly necessary cookies, the website cannot function without them. As for other types of cookies, the choice is up to the user. According to current legislation, Digital Channels may only use cookies with the prior and express consent of the user, except when the placement of certain cookies is strictly necessary to provide the service

that you have expressly requested or to allow you access to a specific functionality of the Digital Channels (e.g., to allow you access to a particular page/feature, like the Web App).

How can I manage my cookie preferences?

At any time, the user can configure their preferences regarding the cookies used in the Digital Channels that are not strictly necessary.

Additionally, most browsers allow control of cookies stored on your device, as well as their immediate deletion, should you wish to stop allowing the local storage of cookies. You can change the settings of your browser to block the installation of cookies or to notify you each time a cookie is set.

Please be aware that disabling cookies through your browser settings may have an impact on the functioning of the Digital Channels, as the configuration panel of most modern browsers does not offer a level of detail that allows users to avoid all cookies that are not strictly necessary for the use of the websites they visit. On devices that offer this type of functionality, you may have more control over your cookies using free extensions available online.

Other tracking technologies

Our Digital Channels may also use a technology similar to cookies, called local storage. Local storage is a technology that creates a storage space in the User's web browser, in which information is kept even after the session is closed and the web browser itself is closed. Thus, it is a persistent information storage object, with an unlimited retention period. Noytrall will use this technology when it is strictly necessary for access to and/or functioning of the Digital Channels and, in some cases, to collect statistical/analytical information about your interaction with the Digital Channels.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

You may also prevent the collection of information through Google Analytics cookies (provided by Google) on any website by installing a suitable tool on your browser. These tools are specifically developed for Google Analytics and prevent the mechanism that allows data collection regarding how you browse and use our website from sharing information with Google Ireland Limited and other Google entities based in the United States of America (according to information provided by Google).

Changes to the Cookie Policy

Noytrall may, at any time, without prior notice and with immediate effect, change, add, or revoke, in part or in full, this Cookie Policy. Any changes relevant to the user will be immediately disclosed on the Digital Channels, allowing you to access the information and, depending on the type of cookie in question, consent to its use.
